No doubt you’ve been hearing about the tragic fires in the Australian state of Victoria (The Australian newspaper has the latest coverage). It’s been one of the worst years on record for fires, and already the death toll is approaching 200. Thousands of acres have burned, entire towns have been destroyed. It’s truly staggering to contemplate the destruction.
